RockPaperScissors
I just signed up on a 10-day free trial. For those that don't know, it's like Netflix for video games and it's $23/month to have any 2 games out at a time. I'm trying to cut back on the games I buy, and I figure this is the equivalent of buying 1 game every 3 months and being able to play at least 6 or so in that time.Anyone use Gamefly? Any complaints? Holic
I've tried them twice. Each time it'd take well over a week to recieve a game. They say they're always adding more distribution centers so you may have better luck.
RockPaperScissors
Well i signed up Saturday night and received my first game today in the mail (Monday afternoon). Not bad.
UCSBDirtyBird
I used them for a while, but I found that it was difficult to get new titles. In the end, I found that it was more cost effective to buy the games used on ebay. I was unable to get Fallout 3 from gamefly, but I bought it for $45 on ebay, and sold if 2 months later for $43. I hope your experience is better than mine though.
RockPaperScissors
The first 4 or 5 games came real quickly, and they even have a service where the Post Office scans the game and Gamefly will send you your next one before the old one even arrives in their warehouse. Now they're F'ing up. Games have been slower to come, and I always get the ones at the bottom of my list. And now I haven't received a game they said they shipped a week ago. They also are saying they haven't received a game I mailed back a week ago. Either my mail-man is drinking again or Gamefly is jerking me. Holic
I started back with them this past Tuesday. Got my game Friday morning, so for now I'm happy with them.
Blitz28179
I had it but cancelled it too because after being a member for 6 months the game started taking longer to get to me,sometimes I would wait 2-3 weeks for games. They would just sit their in my que.Its not worth it IMO. DUB
you get old stuff no problem...but not the new releases which is usually what you are looking for.......bout as annoying as going to blockbuster and seeing the new games always out. RockPaperScissors
Well they didn't give me any crap about the games that went missing in the mail, and are supposedly sending me new ones. We'll see if it ever gets here.
