ramblinwreck9
Nesbitt would be fine if he would throw the underneath passes. His problem is that he tries to throw the HR ball all the time and forces bad passes. He should take a look and some Navy game film and do what they do. Screw the deep ball. We pass to pick up the first down and very seldom do we need more than 10 yards. We are usually in a 3rd and short situation. I would just like to see mure short passes and let our guys run after the catch.

Nesbitt always seems to be shooting for the home run ball when he only needs 5-10 yards max in most cases. The last pass he made (the 35 yard pass on third down to Demaryius Thomas) was a quick hitter that should be the staple of the GT passing game. If he can make those passes instead of heaving it 40 yards downfield, he will be MUCH more successful.
Lee Harvey Oswald
Wasn't he recruited to be a pocket passer, or am I mistaken? Nesbitt does a pretty good job with the running part of it, but if Paul Johnson ever gets someone that can run this offense more effectively, it is gonna be deadly. They came out of the gate last night, like gangbusters.

Gritzblitz 2.0
Paul Johnson was lucky in that he had a QB capable of running his offense last year. Look what Rich Rod had to work with his first season at Michigan. Just imagine if Taylor Bennett was the best he had.
GATECHfan
what a lot of people fail to realize is that Nesbitt spends a lot of time practicing things that normal qbs never need to bc they dont run the triple option, such as the mesh drill with the b-backs and the pitches with the a-backs. he has gotten a lot better at this, but as a result, probably spends less time passing than your typical qb. it doesnt help that 95% of Nesbitt's throws are deep throws, which doesnt help your completion percentage. he should try just focusing on the short and intermediate passing game for now

When he eventually finds one, look out.
xFalconLord
Jaybo Shaw is the guy to run this offense.. He is more gritty, tougher and a much better passer. Plus, he really takes care of the football. Fumbles are not an issue with him. Too bad he is hurt.

When he eventually finds one, look out.i realize, im just saying, people don't always realize how much time Josh spends working on option related stuff rather than passing. there are only so many hours of practice available for each team (unless you play for Rich Rod~)Jaybo Shaw is the guy to run this offense.. He is more gritty, tougher and a much better passer. Plus, he really takes care of the football. Fumbles are not an issue with him. Too bad he is hurt.are you kidding me? jaybo has looked awful outside of the mississippi state and duke game. he was the reason the florida state game was close last year. thankfully, he did alright in the uga game for the few plays he was in the game. he is a better passer yes, but he is a worse runner and tries to keep it too many times we he runs the option. he needs to get better at his reads. When he eventually finds one, look out.100% correct.. it's not him practicing the system.. Nesbit is not a good passer at all.. When CPJ gets a guy who can run the offense and pass the ball efficiently they will be even more tough to stop.. imagine if they were a thread in the air as they are on the ground.. that will be something when he can fine at least someone who can adequately pass the ball..
