Jedi-Falcon
I coughed so hard my stomach muscles were hurting. It was awful. I couldnt sleep because of the pain of my stomach muscles from coughing all the time. I had to sit up and curl up into a ball just to cough to relieve the pain. Da Birdz
Total seriousness, that was the worst Flu I ever experienced in my life. It was a challenge just to get up to put dog food in my dog's bowl, and clean up his turds and pee from my kitchen because I couldnt take him outside.Jedi you are ridiculous! You say you had the swine flu, but you don't even know if you had the regular flu! I was at a VIP training camp event in the middle of August and Matt was telling us he had just gotten over the Flu. You normally don't get regular flu twice in a year so maybe you are right!

Jedi-Falcon
The good news for those of us that have had it is - we are vacinnated! We are immune to it now. It was a tough vacinnation but our immune systems know how to recognize it now.
Ghost Rider
You know they found a different strand, right? Not sure if that vaccination is the same. I think that makes 3 diifferent strands now.

Let's hope our immune systems can fight back against it, or we're in trouble.

And that's right around the time when this pig flu started coming out.I didnt report it back then because I didnt know what was going on. I just felt sick, and figured I would get through whatever it was. I got through it, but looking back now I should have called the CDC in Atlanta. BC Fan
Ryan played half a season at BC with a broken foot. And outside the coaching staff, he didn't tell anyone until after the season.

Scheduled back to practice on wednesday. How long did it take for you to get over it?

That is why I bet a lot more people had it thinking ti was just a bad flu. I know I normally just ride the flu out but if I get the flu this year, I am going to the hospital. This is why I don't think Ryan has it. I am pretty sure they'd have him go to the hospital if he had flu symptoms. At least I am hoping so. You've been right before but I hope not this time. Luckily, I think even Redman could run this offense sufficiently enough to put up points.
Falcons Ace
I remember a time when I said Harry Douglass ripped his ACL...ACL tear, one of the most common major injuries to players in the NFL, especially those in skill positions. WR goes down in camp while running and he has to be carted off. Wow, aren't you a real psychic.
JTRaines92
I hope he starts but if he doesn't Redman looked like a superstar his last time out.
jbrake2
Anybody think it's possible that he just ate some bad Taco Bell and got the hersey squirts? It just said he was filling ill. He just didn't want to be running around in practice with a brown stain. Can't blame the guy.
falconsd56
Yes but that was pretty obvious. We all knew it but didn't want to believe it. Should of said when you were right about Sam Baker last year. That, you were right about. No one ever said anything about a flu with Ryan though. Just said he wasn't feeling well. Let's wait til Wed before we even think swine flu or any flu for that matter. He is expected back by then.no he wasn't, he said on several occasions that Bakers season was over after the back issues and that we may have to look at a LT in the draft this year. ChessPlayer1
So, if i get this pig flu, then i get to miss work? SWEEEET. You think Matt Ryan will cough in my face? It's selfish for him to keep the Pig Flu all to himself.
