Stewie
We had 10 people submit their top 25. Here is how the AFMB Poll came out for week 2...1. Florida (9) 249 2. Texas (1) 240 3. Alabama 2284. USC 2235. Penn State 2056. Oklahoma State 1987. Ole Miss 1848. Boise State 1659. LSU 16310. California 15811. Ohio State 15712. BYU 15213. Georgia Tech 13414. Oklahoma 12715. Virginia Tech 11116. TCU 8417. Utah 8218. North Carolina 7219. Georgia 5719. Miami 5721. Nebraska 5222. Notre Dame 4523. Cincinnati 2624. Kansas 2425. Missouri 17Other receiving votes: Oregon State, West Virginia, Florida State, South Florida, Arkansas, Texas Tech, UCLA, TennesseeFor Comparison, here is the AP Top 25 for Week 21. Florida (56) 14932 Texas (2) 14243 USC 13554 Alabama (2) 13315 Oklahoma State 12016 Mississippi 10957 Penn State 10828 Ohio State 9859 Brigham Young 98410 California 97111 LSU 89012 Boise State 88213 Oklahoma 78214 Virginia Tech 65215 Georgia Tech 63016 TCU 52317 Utah 40418 Notre Dame 38319 North Carolina 33820 Miami (FL) 31521 Georgia 29422 Nebraska 26623 Cincinnati 24824 Kansas 19625 Missouri 126Our poll and the AP both have the same exact teams...no differences other than placement. The biggest discrepancies between the two polls seem to be that we have Boise State at 8, while the AP has them at 12, and we have Notre Dame at 22, while the AP has them 18. Other than that, the differences are only 1 or 2 places apart.Of course, this was a difficult week as many of the top teams played cupcakes. As we get into conference play, I predict that we will begin to see some serious discrepancies between the polls. Thanks to everyone who voted! Any comments about the voting?
