:lol::lol::lol:

Put my coffee down in the nik of time!

Good One

seriously though

Hill was traded from ST.LOUIS for a 7th, if he wasnt going to start for them, ummmmm

Williams was cut by the Jaguars

Grimes is a undrafted free agent CB from Shippensburg U

Owens is a 5'9 CB from San Jose State, cant imagine he faced a ton of top tier WR's in college

Jackson, honestly, this guy, on paper, should be a starter a 5'11 CB from LSU, dont know why he isnt, especially in a cover 2 scheme

Houston, again, on paper should be a starter, but no other team would take him right now

ugh, patch work

I cant speak about top tier WR's but SJS is in the pass happy WAC so Im sure there were a TON of balls thrown at him his college career.

Cant argue with the rest of your post except that TD did find a gem in Foxworth last year and if his trend continues, Hill and Williams will pay off.

Also, Williams was supposedly cut for contract reasons ie, wanted a new one, rather than on-field reasons.

Hill was the starting LCB for STL when we got him. They said he didnt fit Spags scheme.

Williams was cut because his salary was 4-5M for the next 3 seasns

the others are young and have talent, just need to put it together.

Of all i would like to see us trade Houston or Jamaal to get a mid round pick back since we shopped some of them.

I still think we let Haynes go. Fudge and Harris are excellent special teamers, and if Mughelli gets hurt, it'll probably be easier to find a serviceable fullback that needs work than an ace special teams player.

I agree, plus Snelling can play the FB position as well...he's a pretty decent blocker.

Those back up offensive tackles look flat out scary to me. Did you see how they performed in PS? Come on TD one more move for veteran OT depth.

Fudge could be safe. If DeCoud doesn't come around he may be the only other viable option a safety. Moore is a rook, Harris is a ST player and Williams is a CB.

The cut will likely come from Fudge, Harris, Jackson or Haynes. Outside chance Houston or Grimes. Or maybe try to sneak Owens onto the PS.

I agree Haynes seems the most replaceable with Snelling as a FB and we only carried 3 RB last year. We need a backup S and special teams contributions from Harris and Fudge are valuable.

As for our CBs, like the previous poster said, Hill and Williams were cut for salary cap reasons, which is why the NFL is competitive. You cannot afford to pay a backup $4m. So when their schemes changed those guys had to be off the team for money reasons, not because they had no skills.

guess they have a 24 rule?

so Jack Bauer's involved with the Falcons? LOL

put hill I/R knee give him time to learn plays with bye in 4th week would be ready by 6 game

put houston on I/R ham let him get heathty and have time to eval.// Williams knows system (last resort)

if you put either one of them on IR, they're finished for the season!
