SacFalcFan
Oklahoma State starting middle linebacker Orie Lemon suffered a torn ACL during Monday's practice and is expected to miss the entire 2009 season, sources have told GoPokes.com.The 6-foot-1, 246-pound senior from Houston, Texas started all 13 games at middle linebacker for the Cowboys in 2008, and was expected to start against Georgia in Saturday's season opener.Lemon has not redshirted during his collegiate career, and could use this year as a redshirt season and return to play his final year in 2010.Senior Donald Booker is listed as second team middle linebacker on the OSU depth chart and is expected to start against Georgia.Lemon was third on the team with 50 unassisted tackles and third with eight pass break-ups last season as a junior, and also tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles and tied for second on the team with two fumble recoveries. His best game came in OSU's victory at Missouri when he had a season-high 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, a pass break-up and a blocked field goal attempt. Mr Pickle1
If there was one area that OSU had some good players, it was lbr. Looks like they're starting to go downhill even there.
