Looking to watch some westerns, anyone have recommendations?

Edit: As I watch a new western, I'll throw them in this list from best to worst only in relation to other westerns.

The list so far:

  1. Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo. (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) (1966)
  2. Unforgiven (1992)
  3. Pale Rider (1985)
  4. 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
  5. Appaloosa (2008)
  6. The Proposition (2005)
  7. The Quick and the Dead (1995)

Still to be watched:

Open Range (2003)

C'era una volta il West (Once Upon a Time in the West) (1968)

Dances with Wolves (1990)

The Magnificent Seven (1960)

The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)

Dead Man (1995)

Giù la testa (Duck, You Sucka/Fistful of Dynamite) (1971)

The Shootist (1976)

Tombstone (1993)

Per qualche dollaro in più (1965)

Per un pugno di dollari (1964)

High Noon (1952)

Everything I'd recommend has already been mentioned in this thread. Tombstone is the best ever.

Can't go wrong with 3:10 to Yuma, Appaloosa, High Plains Drifter, Unforgiven, or Open Range.

That's just my game!!!!

You're alright in my book!!!

How about The Apple Dumplin Gang and The Cherrokee Kid?

I actually havent seen that since I was a kid.

I liked it then, but I dont know if it still holds up.

True story. The Apple Dumplin Gang was the ONLY VHS movie my grandparents owned for about 12 years. So when I was a kid, it was the only movie you could watch if you were spending the night with them, or staying out of school sick.

I can hardly remember it either. I have looked for it in media stores to no avail. That Tim Conway / Don Knotts combination was awsome though.
