We talk in the Hall of Fame selection room every year about not discriminating against guys on historically bad teams, which this Denver team was. I guess when I think of jobbed guys on historically bad teams, I think of Tommy Nobis, Claude Humphrey and Cortez Kennedy. I'll need to be convinced a little more on Little.

I have seen several mentions in recent years of Nobis as one of the best overlooked players not tin the hall. I have a feeling that he is a name that has some support within the seniors committee, and will have his chance soon.

I was gutted about Clude Humphey not being selected this year, particualty as 80-85% of senior committee nominees have been given the nod in recent years. I suspect that he may have had his best chance, although there are a few players that have been put forward by the seniors committee more than once...
