KRUNKuno
We've all liked Harry Douglas since the moment he was drafted. He's backing up a solid season with a great offseason and tc thus far. Roddy being out is allowing Matt Ryan to become more and more comfortable with Harry. It's always a good thing to have a siamese relationship with your #1 target, but having it with your slot guy can also do wonders.
bossFALCON™
that's the good thing. ryan gets to work with his other guys a little more and get a little more faith in them because he did look to roddy a little too much at times last year and forced some balls. paulitik
I agree, Harry looks ready to bust out a huge year. I just hope Roddy is staying in shape and working out like the AJC says.
Beezy
Very good point!See Roddy is just looking out for his teammates....... What a guy!Now sign the contract and get on the field!!!
WoTFan
I agree, Roddy and Ryan already have great chemistry. A week or two won't mess that up.
skynyrd04
You're right. Look at Manning's best years: he had Stokely working the slot. Brady's best year came with Welker working the slot. So, having Matty Ice with a great slot reciever would be awesome to see.
freebird587
I agree, Roddy and Ryan already have great chemistry. A week or two won't mess that up.it will mess it up because now that we have tony & know what our running game can do, this offence will be totally different than last year....with or without roddy.......if he wants to be able to be a champion, he needs to act like one & believe he will get paid like ab does all his stars.....my god, they just got their last draft pick signed....roddy....you will be next ocho quatro
blizzard_falcon
I think we have one of the best WR1-WR2-WR3-TE1 combinations in the league. In fact, I can't really think of many team sout there with a stronger overall receiving corp... maybe New England and Arizona?
Durrty
That's a good way of looking at it...chemistry is a part of your offense having success. My only concern is the offense's overall picture on the field. With Roddy in place, what type of an effect will that have on defenses and Ryan's decision-making when throwing against different formations...that's where he's being missed and needs significant reps at during training camp, but I am glad that Ryan has an opportunity to get more comfortable with the rest of the WR core.
