Absolutely brilliant article

Recommended Posts

if by "brilliant", you mean someone who obviously doesn't understand the difference between democratic socialism (of which orwell was a follower) and revolutionary communism that corrupted hte original goals of socialism (as orwell saw them).

i call that "ignorant", but you call it what you will. at the very least, you are citing a devout socialist in an effort to attack obama and others as "socialist".

Point blank: call it whatever you want to call it, I really don't care.. What happened in Animal Farm has happened (and is happening) here.

If you read the entire article, he certainly doesn't single out any one administration.

No, he certainly doesn't.

I just pointed out the fact that people can compare it to any administration and have been doing so ever since that book came out, along with 1984.

And I think you can probably compare it to most, because it's actually happening, one administration after another.

Its a cycle that will never end. Once those in power reach a certain point, the country falls into chaos and either is reborn or stays in a state of ruin.
