Tim Hudson was scratched from his scheduled start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday night. The veteran right-hander felt some cramping in his groin as he neared the end of his warmup in the bullpen.

Hudson sent a text saying that he'll have a better idea about how much time he'll miss when he's evaluated by Braves doctors at Turner Field on Saturday.

Hudson, who is attempting to return from Tommy John surgery, was preparing to make his fourth Minor League rehab start. Earlier this week, he indicated that he thought he might be ready to rejoin the Atlanta rotation after making a total of six rehab starts.
