pencilpusher. just because
It looks extremely time consuming and possibly annoying. Also since the Vdub is 40, it doesn't have a clear coat on the paint, so I was wondering if it would work as well on an older car. I just don't want to spend 20+ bucks on something that may not work as well as a 3 dollar can of turtle wax. Thanks in advance.
The_ATL
The point of the clay bar is to fill in any impurities (sp?) that's been left in the clear coat. You 'should' clay bar your car at least once a year and it can be very time consuming.I would'nt bother with doing it to a car w/o a clear coat if were me though. cnasty
Transmission fluid and a rag will shine up dull oxidized paint.Oh yeah, I prefer used transmission fluid though. It seems to do a little better.
