FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - There's a little bit of tension around the Falcons' complex right now and that's more than understandable. The team is waiting for word on first-round draft pick Peria Jerry after he collided knee-to-knee with a teammate during this morning's minicamp practice.

Medical personnel are examining Jerry right now and coach Mike Smith said he hopes to have an update on the defensive tackle's condition later this afternoon.

The Falcons are scheduled to have another practice at 4:15 and I'll bring you any update as soon as I get it.

He probably needs a full knee reconstruction.

I'm not going to argue with you anymore. You were right about the severity of Baker's injury last year. I hope your wrong though. My guess is a knee bruise but banging with 300 pounders you just never know. Anyone know if he walked off the field? How anbout anyone else as far as camp goes. How did Owens and Moore look. What about Decoud, Chevis and Nicholas? Anyone?
