....and a phone call goes out to Ryan Purvis

11 posts in this topic

The draft is done and our FO is still busy making targeted phone calls to FA rookie prospects. Who do you think they should call?

I am guessing that Purvis is on the list. He caught passes from Matt Ryan at BC and did a pretty good job. His blocking needs work, but he has developmental potential.

a center like cecil newton or jon cooper and some linebacker depth is what we really need- maybe beckwith, casillas or lee robinson. a develepmental tight end to learn behind gonzo like ryan purvis would be nice too.

The Aaron Kelly signing looks very good to me. I would like for him to make the squad and watch him fill out. I get the feeling that he could be a phenomenal red zone target in a few seasons....just in time for Gonzo to retire.
