i think that it's important to note that the ratings scale was completely re-tooled this year. the spread between the best in the league and an average starter was increased dramatically, making high ratings even more valuable, but a low rating (60s-70s) is no longer terrible. The players who are the best in the elague will now play like they are that much better than everyone else.
