OldHusky
I am a huge Falcons fan living in Chicago, and I am also an alum of NIU (home of both Michael Turner and Larry English). For those of you who are concerned about how English's skills with transfer to the NFL. Larry has been the has been the focus of our opponents schemes since he was s sophmore. Larry has been double teamed, chipped by a back, or covered up by the TE (H-back) on 75% of snaps. He also broke his hand in the first game of his senior season, didn't miss a game, and still put up 10.5 sacks in spite of the extra focus. Look the MAC is not the SEC, but when teams focus their coverage and blocking around 1 guy, and he still dominates, that says something. Larry is a beast. He is hard working and humble. Attitude and ego will not be an issue for this guy.I am both a Falcons fan and a Huskies fan, and I hope the Falcons find a way to take English.ENGLISH'S CAREER STATISTICSYear G/GS Solo Assist Total TFL-Yds. Falcon Fantom
Dude sounds like a tough guy!!! Played with a broken hand and stiil put up 10.5 sacks!!!! Beastly. Wouldnt mind that kind of toughness on our sqaud. Plus the fact that he was the focal point and opposing teams had to plan for him is even better.
