BBurgFalconFan
people keep hoping the incarnation of pk in this little dude ...hahayou do know Kroy was only about 20 lbs lighter than Dwight Freeney last year. He could easily put on 20 lbs in an offseason and be a skilled pass rusher. You don't have to be big to play DE if you have speed and a motor. You don't have to be big to play DE if you have speed and a motor.Kroy is not 270, Freeny is 290 he looks small but he's huge, if Kroy put on 20 lbs, he'd be 250 which is possible it's just realy light and he's be a pass-rusher only. Dwight Freeney is listed as 268 pounds on NFL.com, and Kroy is 242. He is only 26 pounds lighter than Freeney. Freeney is not a huge dude at 6'1" 268, and Biermann is 6'3" 242, Biermann could easily put on 20+ pounds in an offseason and be as big as Freeney. Look up for facts before you say Freeney is 290, that is laughable. If you have seen the guy you know he is not 290.
R.U.N.n.G.U.N.
pk played the strongside...LE and he was good against both the run and pass. Kroy is a good player, but he's a 3-4 olb.

ki46dinah
20 pounds in one offseason IS NOT EASY....espcially since Kroy has been lifting for years at a high level. He will be lucky with 10 pounds. And of course I mean good weight....not just fat.

He will be lucky with 10 pounds. And of course I mean good weight....not just fat.the workout routine in college is nothing like in the pros, and he is probably on a lot better diet than he was in college as well. My friend who is 22, went from 245-270 over 6 months doing a prostyle training program, he now plays professional rugby in england. I will try to find the team he is on. It's not easy, but he could do it over part of last season, offseason, and training camps.
sporkdevil
He is more of a Mathis type. Late round, undersized guy who can rush the passer. (Some of that is still developing).Edit: Mathis: 6 ft 2, 245 lbs, 5th rounder, 11.5 sacks last year on the left side.

Freeney is 6'1" and 268 LBS. Check your stats because this is a fact. As far as the PK comparison, they had the same amount of sacks as rookies so who's to say? I think Bierman came in at around 237 or so. He needs to get up around 255 to 260 at least. I think Mathis for Indy is 255. He is a bit weak against the run though. I think Lofton was 248 last year and Biermann does look close to his size so he's heading in the right direction.
