We DON'T need DORESY!

We dont need Dorsey bruh.... What we need to do is to trade our #24 pick to NewEngland.... In return we will aquire their two second rounders... This helps them because they could send this pick to Carolina, they want Julius Peppers bad. We would then use one of 2 second round picks that we obtained and send it to Kansas City for Tony Gonzalez... The other pick should be used to draft CHIP VAUGN!!! He not only has fluidity in his hips, but he has the footwork to match... Also, he has what we lack! He has closing, straightline and recovery speed to atone for rookie mistakes and the fear of getting beat deep....

We don't need DORSEY - We have a dorsey......Can you say TREY LEWIS... He is faster- quicker and bigger... You'll meet him this year..I would even go so far as to say that had he been at LSU- DORSEY WOULD'NT have sniffed the field unitl he left.... I don't throw rail for rail and I'm not knocking your theory- I'm sure you are great guy, but a TRUE falcons fan understands the forseeable future.... I PREDICT that this will be the draft to solidify us and have the league sying that we will have the quickest "D" this year. PETERSON,LOFTO & IWRE will be beasts.....TREY LEWIS WILL FREE UP ANDERSON for a better year and CHIP VAUGN,if drafted will from one of the top secondaries in the LEague.. If we stand pat we will realistically we are still a year or two away from Serious contention, but if we get Gonzalez, Vaugn and a Pass Rushing Specialist we will compete this year for the NFC Championship..

I LOOOOOOOVVE MV7- but he can't help us and when you put yourself before the team- you get what you deserve....

Think about it! - With the smarts of RYAN at QB- who can match up with Norwood, Turner, Gonzalez, R.White, Jenkins and Douglass on Defense.... It's hard to prepare for that........I might not get any respect on this board, but I am a realist and I will continue to shed light on truth and not to be the KING OF WISHFUL THINKING.... ;););)

Why does New England want Peppers? Because doing so is the opposite of what they do. They don't sign big FA's, and they don't give loads of picks to do so.

Plus we rotate our defensive lineman. Trey Lewis also plays a different spot on the line. He's the bigger NT. KC played Dorsey at NT last year, and that's why he didn't show very much. Dorsey would rotate with Babz. I think our rotation after Babz is Jefferson (I think). And even if we played him at NT, we don't know how well he can play after 2 knee surgeries.

We do need Dorsey, or another DT.

And we could still draft Vaughn and get Dorsey.

Patriots actually do want Peppers. And the last few years, they have changed their stragegy. They sign a lot of free agents lately. Usually a big one or 2. They signed every corner available this off-season.

wHAT WAS THE REASON... tREY lEWIS GOT hURT AND yES hE WENT TO wASHBURN cOLLEGE..... BUT JERRY RICE WAS FROM A SMALL COLLEGE, SO WAS WALTER PAYTON.......WHICH LEADS ME TO SAY THIS : DORSEY IS NJURY PRONE LIKE LEWIS.....THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT LEWIS DOEN'T COST US MILLIONS....AND ATLEAST WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR HIM TO DEVELOP WHILE HE USES UP MAJOR SALARY CAP SAPCE....IF TREY DOESNT PAN OUT- FINE! BUT I'D RATHER PUT MY MONEY ON SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD TO FIGHT HIS WHOLE CAREER TO PROVE NAYSAYERS WRONG- INSTEAD OF SOMEONE WHO GOT MILLIONS OF THE RIP AND OT LAZY AND COMPLACENT-UNLIKE MATT RYAN - WHO STAYED HUNGRY.........ALL FREAKING YEAR...

Saying a 7th round pick out out Washburn College would have played ahead of the 5th overall pick from LSU in the SEC is wishful thinking. And I really like Trey Lewis, but Dorsey was drafted 5th overall for a reason.

that's just like saying Jamal anderson was drafted 8th for a reason. We are still waiting on that answer. The thing about the draft is that no one really truthfully knows what a person is going to do as a pro. Injuries, under achievement, over achievement, arrest, LIFE......all of that happens and that's not up to us.

Anderson was drafted 8th overall for a reason. He looked very good in college, I'm not saying Dorsey is going to pan out in the NFL, I'm talking about the fact that he said Lewis would have played in front of Dorsey in college if they were on the same team. Trey was a 7th rounder, Dorsey could have gone second over all to St. Louis. In college, Dorsey was much more beastly than Lewis. Not saying Trey can't be the better pro with the right coaching, but in college Dorsey proved more.

For like vet minimum. Moss put a gun to their head to get fair market value. They do more 1 year prove it deals than anything else. I can't imagine them signing Peppers to a deal he likes, let alone trading a first round or more to them to do it.

Only because they have such a good record and can get away with underpaying people.

Last i heard NE were interested in signing Jason Taylor, and JT was very interested in going to NE...

If thats the case, Julius Peppers wont even be in Belichicks thoughts...

JT sounds much more likely than Peppers for NE. A cheap guy who can still produce.

And to Dem Birds: NE didn't get a good record by overpaying people.

Obviously. But they do go after free agents, a lot, lately. They paid top dollor for Adalius Thomas, I think. And they did show a lot of interest in trading for Peppers.
