I Don't Think He's

Recommended Posts

Should be though. He has the hardest hitting TAPES not just highlights. Whats the deal guys? If I had a chance I'd take him waaaay before he's projected and start him at SLB and hope for at least average. This guy has a motor, athleticism, and some lights out K.O. style hitting ability. Anyone know more about him?

I have him in my mocks.

Follett is a Killer and Bruton has been upgraded to

assassin.

1. Oher/Kruger/ MJ

2 Kruger/Tupou/Hood

3 Sammie Lee Hill

4 Follett

5a Bruton

5b Bomar

6 BPA

Round 1 & 2 are a bit tricky as Britton will likely be

the available OT

Round 2 just kinda speaks for itself.

3,4, and 5 a I will defend, but considering that we are picking late in these

rounds that we just move up the the scale and begin round 2 with Hill.

This leaves 5b and 6 as BPA's on positions of greatest need.

Well for the most part over on the mock sites im on most of us have him in our mocks in the 3rd or 4th round going to the Falcons. Me and Scar included. Only guys want more in the 3rd is Gerald Mcgrath or Marcus Freeman.

I'd take him in the 2nd or 3rd easily and draft other positions in the 1st and 2/3. Shoot man, we are probably going to let him slip away like Zbikowski last year...another bad move. Who did we get instead?

EDIT: nvm we got Douglas and Jackson instead. Dangit!

There is a reason why Bruton is considered a 4th-5th round prospect. Someone in the late third may fall in love with him, but he's a project and wouldn't start from day one. Some coach will think he can mold him into something more, but as of now he's not NFL ready. He may work out for someone, but he's not for us.

IMO Follett in the 4th is a go, "if he is still there".

Now about Bruton.

At 5a or even 4th I do not see a better value at Safety.

Of course you pick him and develop the player,,,, DUH

Is there a any DB in round 5 that will be a Starter?

Of course not.

David Bruton, FS, Notre Dame

Height: 6-2. Weight: 219.

Projected 40 Time: 4.49.

Combine 40 Time: 4.46.

Benchx225: . Vertical: 41.5.

This is exactly what you want in the NFL.

Rare Size and speed.

Rare Size and speed, and good ball skills

That is my only knock on him but if we pick him late in the draft I would't mind it, but i do think that we could get better value other than him at the position you initially had us picking him at, which i think was the 3rd. I am ok with the 4th, but would feel even better about it in the 5th.

In the mock that I posted 2 doors down I had Harris in the mix.

No there in lies the problem with who is picked 3rd.

Hill or Harris?

But this in fact becomes a lesser problem than say the 2nd round pick,

which in itself will be the Most Crucial and Critical pick of this years draft.

Round one will be the Varsity Round.

Very Basic

6 Chili Dogs, Rings and an FO.

Man why did you have to mention the Varsity, I am hungry and i am downtown working and will pass by there when i get off. I agree round 2 will be very important. I am not worried so much about the 1st it, is the second that i am unsure of.
