Falcon Fantom
Steve Wyche's new mock draft has the Falcons picking Vontae Davis with our 24th pick. The NFL network describes him as the best CB in the draft, but the kid has off field issues and teams question his work ethic. Dude is a stud at the CB position and we definitely need help in that position, but Im kind of iffy about his mentality and maturity playing at the next level. Thoughts?????? xrage
I hope not. He's not even on my draft board. Alphonso Smith is the only day one corner I want in this draft.
Mr. Purple Label
That's sounds nice, but that off the field thing has grown so much over the past few years for the NFL. They were talking about him like his brother, saying that he doesn't show much commitment.
Politi-Cal
We do need some help at the CB spot but not as much as a few other spots on D. I think if we were going to draft a CB it would be one with no off field issues.

Upstate NY Falcon
i'd rather take Darius Butler or Alphonso Smith, but if he's there i wouldnt be unhappy with the pick.
Upstate NY Falcon
Would he ba available in the second?? Or is he a first round guy?he's at lowest the third highest corner in a class of Darius Butler, Malcom Jenkins, Alphonso Smith, Sean Smith, DJ Moore, and Jairus Byrd. Moore and Byrd are the only ones that are projected to make it to the second round.
xrage
Would he ba available in the second?? Or is he a first round guy?I don't see him falling to our pick in the second, but even if he did there should be guys there that I'd still take over him. Ther is a post that basically is bashing Cushing! People say they see him as the Quinn of LBs. From what I see on the NFl network and other outlets he seems like a terrific LB. Usc is said to be the nee linebacker university and they have 3 going to the pros this year. I would take the guy in the 1st. Is there something I dont see? Thoughts??????It's not very popular but I have enough faith in Houston, Chevis and Hutchins to have a DT, LB and DE above a CB on my prioritylist. Secondly with offfield issues and a questionable work etich he just doesn't fit in the TD/Smith-world.
