Falcon Guru
The afternoon show on Sirius with Patt Kirvan, former Jets GM, talked about a trade between KC and the Falcons. The other host proposed trading Jamal Anderson and the #24 pick to KC for Glen Dorsey. Due to the trade chart, Pat stated that KC still would not be getting back value but KC would have to look at the deal.Where there is smoke there is fire
formul8or
I'd pull the trigger on that trade in about 2 seconds.
Knight of God
I'd pull the trigger on that trade in about 2 seconds.I second that one.
coryb78
I wouldn't. If you ask me we are the ones giving up too much for a 2nd year player that hasn't proven that he can play at the same level in the NFL that he did at LSU.
Bodhi
Ermmm, have you seem Jamal <Zombie> Anderson play for the Falcons? I'd break someone's hand shaking on that deal.
804_Falconfan
Anderson will play outside and inside some this season. Dorsey would just play inside. The FO likes Anderson because he is the most versatile of the D Linemen we have. I doubt this trade will happen and hope it wouldn't. I think I may have been one of the only people who didn't really like Dorsey coming out of LSU last year.
Jedi-Falcon
That trade would be worth it.

Peyton
If Dorsey is playing well, and I don't know if he is or isn't, but if he is, why would the Chiefs be looking to trade him?
unconquered.
i dont want to give up the first. 2nd yes but not first.
hotrodburna
why give up the first rounder? t's not like dorsey was killing like akoye (houston) was in his rookie year. it'd be like taking one project off our hands and replacing him with another project. joenate25
Why would we trade JA who has been with us for two full seasons only to trade him and our 24 pick for someone who has not proven a thing yet? You could argue we can better him, but isnt that just another project? And there is no way they should throw away their 24 pick. They say KC would not be getting a worth-while deal, but I feel the Falcons wouldn't. They say JA is more versatile than Dorsey. I never understood why Falcons fans and pundits were all over this man for the 3rd pick last draft. We needed a franchise QB, we got one (knocking on wood). falcons faithful
Some how just don't understand why we would want to give up our 24th pick for this trade. Thanks but no thanks. I keep JA, Dorsey sure ain't show a whole lot.

The_ATL
LOL you guys wont trade a 2nd for one of the best TEs to ever play the game but you will trade a bust and a 1st rounder for another bust.

silaslang
We would be trading one bust for another bust, not a big deal either way.
etherdome
heeeeeeeellllllllllll No!!! ill trade them straight up tho. but not our first.thatll never happenAgreed. Anderson is the ideal 3-4 DE. Keep in mind that Dorsey is also an UT, not a NT. He has little potential to get any bigger. Personally, I would prefer to draft Hood in the first and trade Anderson for Gonzalez and a fourth rounder.
