Gonzo traded to Atlanta for 2nd Round pick.......Draft Day trade Atlanta and New England, will this work out?

Well if we give up a 2nd Round pick for Tony Gonzalez then I see TD working a trade with his old club the Patriots....

Atlanta trades the #24 pick to the Patriots and a Third round 2010 pick for:

Patriots #34 in the second Round

Patriots #58 in the second Round

Patriots then trade #24 pick obtained from Atlanta to Carolina for Julius Peppers

Atlanta will have the following picks in the #2009 Draft

#34 Second Round (DT Ron Brace, Boston College) or (Michael Johnson, GT) or ( Larry English........Connor Barwin.......

#58 Second Round(Safety William Moore Missouri) Patrick Vaughn, Wake Forrest)

#90 Third Round ( CB Sherrod Martin, Troy) or ( Mike Mickens, Cinci)

#125 Fourth Round ( LB Kaluka Maiava, USC) or LB Nic Harris, Oklahoma

#138 Fifth Round (DE Michael Bennett, Texas A&M

#160 Fifth Round ( WR Aaron Kelly, Clemson)

#176 Sixth Round ( OT Andrew Gardner GT

And we have TE Tony Gonzalez to boot for next year..........

If it is true that we should receive a compensatory Third Round pick next year for Foxworth then we have nothing to lose......

See Draft Points they add up for this trade.
