Hey guys I'm attempting to do a mock draft based on each fanbase's decisions on who to select in the draft. I've been going to everyone's forums checking who wants who.

2. Rams: OT Eugene Monroe, UVA

3. Chiefs: LB Aaron Curry, WF

4. Seahawks: OT Jason Smith, Baylor

5. Browns: WR Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech

6. Bengals: DT B.J. Raji, Boston College

7. Raiders: WR Jeremy Maclin, Mizzou

8. Jaguars: QB Mark Sanchez, USC

9. Packers: LB Brian Orakpo, Texas

10. 49ers: LB Everett Brown, FSU

11. Bills: DE Aaron Maybin, PSU

12: Broncos: LB Rey Maualuga, USC

13. Redskins: OT Andre Smith, Alabama

14. Saints: CB Malcom Jenkins, OSU

15. Texans: LB Clay Matthews, USC

16. Chargers: DE Tyson Jackson, LSU

17. Jets: WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, Maryland

18. Broncos: LB Brian Cushing, USC

19. Buccaneers: WR Hakeem Nicks, UNC

20. Lions: OT Michael Oher, Ole Miss

24: Falcons: On the Clock!

Please post a reply saying who you would like your Falcons to take in the draft at this spot (other than players already taken) or who you think they will take. Player with the most votes wins.

sorry if I missed someone you guys are high on in the poll. Just write them in if they arent on there. I tried my best but its hard with limited spots.

thanks!

Come on man, a little more your own opinion, a little less drone-like cliché please...

That is my opinion and has been for a long time. Pettigrew wasn't anything special as a receiver at Oklahoma State, and those numbers will only go down, because of his lack of speed and explosiveness. We already have two good blocking TEs (Hartsock/Peele), so we need a guy like Shawn Nelson or James Casey that can be a compliment to those guys. Besides, a TE in a Mularkey offense has never had more than 20 catches in a season anyway. We have more pressing needs than TE, such as the entire defense.

That being said, I wouldn't be mad if we got him. I have no reason to doubt anything TD does at this point.

so why would you want a one dimensional pass catching TE, kind of messed up your point

The point was that a TE is not worth a first rounder in this offense, because they aren't utilized as pass-catchers very much.

The guys I talked about aren't really TEs, they are closer to big WRs that might be able to block for you here and there. Guys like Shawn Nelson and James Casey can line up in the slot and create mismatches against nickel CBs with their size.

Basically, why use a first round pick on a player that brings nothing new to the table?
