Robb4242
If there were 25 players in this draft, and we picked 24th and only had those two options, I'd take English. That said, he's a situational pass rusher as a 4-3 DE, and he's best suited as an OLB in a 3-4 IMO. GATECHfan
id be fine with either. both will be great pros imo.
jidady
I wouldn't spend a first round pick on either one. In the first round, you should get starters, not specialists.
KiiNGofLONDON™
Larry English. I firmly believe that, unlike Michael Johnson, he'll be able to play both DE and SLB for us from day 1.

falconsfromengland
Larry English. I firmly believe that, unlike Michael Johnson, he'll be able to play both DE and SLB for us from day 1.i really cant see someone this raw being able to start at SLB from day 1, he is an OLB in a 3-4and i dont think without 2 years work he will be a OLB in a 4-3. he reminds me of abraham alot but ifwe are to get a DE i would like him to already be quite good against the run so i would prefer ayers or kruger

Rai
Hmm... I'd say Michael Johnson has a higher chance of being a bust while at the same time, has much more potential. Depends how risky you are.I'd take English just to be on the safe side.
ki46dinah
Michael Johnson if we give him an incentive laden contract....minimum wage if he stinks, with solid bonuses if he performs well. Of course that will never happen though, because that would just make sense.
#1$tunna
Ilm fine with either one. The funny thing is all the people who like English havent even seen him p'lay in a full game. Ive seen MJ play numerous times and itll be very hard for TD and CMS to pass him up, i dont think he'll be there at 24.
EllijayFalconsFan
Larry English, That way we could take snaps away from Jamaal who is still developing, Kroy who is coming off a great rookie campaign, Abe who is god, and Chauncey who wants a starting spot.(by the way we don't need DE in the 1st)

I love English and I'm sure others, like Mr. Offseason, have watched him play. I've watched a full season of him play and that's why I like him.
