Cable Guy
I believe is free up until 4/19. If it is I will use it and if it's a good as they are saying. I think I might have to get it. It's only $110 or $20 per month, which is about $80 cheaper than MLB Exta Innings. Anyone use MLB.TV before. From what I've read. HD Games, DVR like feature, and you can watch 4 games at one time. Cable Guy
I hope they have that trial period. If it works out good for me then I'll get it. I use my TV as my PC monitor. I want to see how it shows up on my TV. Will it be full screen or a box in the middle.
Libid21
What is it, streaming? Because my internet connection is way too slow I think. And my monitor kinda sucks.
Cable Guy
you can do a speed test on there and they will let you know if your PC is good enough for it. Here is the MLB.TV page. on the upper right corner you'll see a link for check your bandwidth. Link
Scott da 6'0
Cable guy, let me know if they're doing that free trial (without having to give them credit card info.). I thought about getting MLB.TV last year when the Braves were still alive in the division, but as they fell out of it more, I didn't really need it. Cable Guy
I'm going to try it out tomorrow night when I get home from work. Still if you go with the lower package for $80 or $15 a month that's still a good deal. The bad thing is you won't be able to get games in HD, have the DVR features or choose which announcers you want to listen to. You will automatically get the home team announcers.
