WoTFan
We have Jammal Anderson, who looks to be a better fit in the 3-4. Broncos are moving to 3-4.We could trade JA98 and a 3rd for Scheffler. Davis would become our starting LDE.
MSalmon
so give a third and Jamaal ( a #8 OVERALL) who shows promise and would be a great 3-4 DE for a TEt that's high in receptions is 645 yds? Straight up maybe

Zanka
I would like to get rid of JA98 for Scheffler, but we don't have to give a 3rd rounder. When JA98 is coming along in the trade
WoTFan
I wasn't sure of Scheff's value. I know he'd be a upgrade, and he seems to be disgruntled by his situation.
atljbo
Tony Scheffler CombineHeight: 6'5Weight: 25440 Yrd Dash: 4.5420 Yrd Dash: 2.6610 Yrd Dash: 1.61 225 Lb. Bench Reps: 17Vertical Jump: 33 1/2Broad Jump: 09'07"20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.043-Cone Drill: 6.82Remember tho.... Tony Scheffler is in the last year of his contract...... If you trade for the guy, a new contract has to come with it.... ill do a 3rd round pick and thats it.... Tony Scheffler is also kinda injury prone....... But yea.... Tony Scheffler would fit in our scheme nicelyI honestly think that the Broncos would trade Tony Scheffler for Jamaal Anderson straight up but TD is not going to do it.Tony Scheffler do not want to be there and the broncos want to move on. WoTFan
I think if it was straight up, TD would do it.We resigned Davis, for this reason. Add in a early DE pick (Ayers, Barwin, Kruger) and we really wouldn't need Anderson.

TD is a guy that like specialty guys..... We down Jamaal Anderson for his lack of sacks but i think TD like his run stopping abilities.... TD does not think like us. Polar Bear Jones
Seems like a good idea the trade for Jamal. I would rather we go straight up JA98 for Crowder. I do not know what is wrong with me but I keep getting a bad feeling when I here talks about trading JA98. I guess sometimes you gotta cut em loose. Clark Kent™
This is old news. They been trying to trade him for a while. They came out with reports earlier this year that they would trade him for a 5th rd pick. I would rather give them the 5th rd pick and keep Anderson. Not that i really like Anderson, but i think he is more valuable. We DEFINITELY wouldnt have to give up Anderson and a freakin 3rd. We aint the Cowboys. Scheff is an awesome receiving TE. He had groin issues all season last year which caused him to be very inconsistent, but he is legit.

MattM12
i wouldnt mind giving up one pick for him, not JA98. I like the draft TEs, want to stay in that pool!
.leon
I wouldn't trade JA98 for Scheffler...
The Dirty Bird
Here's the solution.Give up our second 5th rounder for Scheffler if we really want him.Trade JA98 to a different team transitioning to a 3-4 defense (Kansas City) for their 4-3 LDE (Tamba Hali). Now we have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th and we have permanent solutions for LDE and TE. rcky_mtn_falcon
I think those people wanting to give Jamaal away for magic beans are completely lost. Give him a little more time to develop and you might be surprised how much he helps OUR team.

If jamal can show that he can play the UT position also then he may be able to save his roster spot.
