BulldogsPride89
I don't really want to watch this video, for obvious reasons. But it wouldn't surprise me if half the highlights from the 2008 season are from the Georgia game.
tikibar
I noticed there weren't many highlights from Tech's most recent game? Bowl highlights can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLHxKeDeonk
GATECHfan
I noticed there weren't many highlights from Tech's most recent game? Bowl highlights can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLHxKeDeonkim sorry, but was your team participating in that game? nope. i realize youre bitter, but please just move along. you ll have another chance in november. until then, just swallow it and be a fan. tech fans in the past have been guilty of riding florida's coat tails when they beat uga, but not as long as april.as to the original topic, i saw those highlights on stingtalk the other day but they're both really well done videos. im really glad that they included that d-bag announcer during the uga game, not sure of his name, comment that asked 'where is the sting?' and then made him look like a fool.the 1990 highlights were also very entertaining, the best part being when #95 sacks the qb, and the qb reaches out his hand to get helped up and #95 pulls his hand away. it was awful, but hilarious for that same reason. We were beginning to feel sorry for you. We decided we're going to make the next winning streak 9 games. Get your tickets for 2018!

And that would be 29 years since Georgie's last National Championship. And don't even try that weak, "we let you win" crap... YOU weren't on the field and 409 rushing yards ain't a fluke. Sorry your 5 star HS all americans with their 4.3 forties couldn't stop Dwyer, Roddy, or Luke Cox... They should learn to tackle and not run themselves out of plays (e.g., Rennie Curran on Cox's TD). Move along, nothing to see here. Georgie's reign is OVER!45-42 still stands, home slice.

tikibar
so now between 1990 and 2008 is 100 years? is this using the Mayan calendar? Such math can only be achieved by using the Reggie Ball 100 Year Itch special edition calendar. It says state champs on every date and has pictures of the gold Balfour Chick Fil A Bowl rings that have a game score inscribed on them that has nothing to do with the bowl game. Tech had an 8 game winning streak that still stands and 4 National Titles. Those weren't CFA bowl rings... They were a commemoration of CPJ's first season at Tech. And Georgia can't talk about Tech putting the score on a personal ring. Those jokers retired the jersey of the guy that scored the TD that broke Tech's 8 game win streak... which once again, still stands.

Those rings were part of GT's bowl money/gifts to their players by the way http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/12578429. Hard to blame the school for focusing only on the UGA game at the end of the season. Thanks for quoting an article that Ken fixed later by saying that the ring was not for the bowl but a commemoration of the season. It just happened that they gave them out around bowl time. The reason the Georgia score is on the ring is because the upperclassmen asked that they include it. It had nothing to do with the coaches or school. A shared national title that is RECOGNIZED and counted by college football historians, not mythical like Georgia's preseason National Title. You can try to argue them away all you want but you still lose in the National Title argument. Also, way to overlook this: And Georgia can't talk about Tech putting the score on a personal ring. Those jokers retired the jersey of the guy that scored the TD that broke Tech's 8 game win streak... which once again, still stands. And regarding the color TV comment, you were the one that brought up 100 years... I just filled you in on a couple things that happened during that span of time.

I just filled you in on a couple things that happened during that span of time.Good material dude. Uptight are we? Sugar coat things however you want, but such press isn't impressive to the neutral fan. For those in the know or seeing the world through mustard colored glasses, whatever floats your boat....but it makes Tech look like a small time program with small time aspirations to a neutral fan to have such press. Some celebrate national champs or conference champs...etc.Shared titles are shared titles. And who said anything about preseason ranks or titles? That was your material. And for the record, college football's rankings are garbage until the second week of January. And my pre-color tv jab was not only at the UGA clowns who retired a jersey, it's for anyone who gets that worked up over anything that happened before color tv. Have a chill pill and sit back and relax: what's better than being state champs anyway?
