Karst41
We all know the glaring needs on Defense, but lets put aside the knee jerk reactions for a moment.A team consist of Offense and Defense, with special teams comprisedfrom the two groups.Any mock that consist of only One Offensive player is a failed draft, being that you just ignored half of your team. Can you balance this years draft by choosing 3 picks on Offenseand 3 on defense? The exception to this would be 2 Quality Offensive picksOne must come no later than round 3 and the other no later than 5a.In order for you to do this you must know which players will not onlysecure the given position but also which other positions the pick supports.Meaning that you get a 2 for 1 value from your pick. You must also be very realistic in determining player that will be availablein the respective round.Cheers

nick h
1. Louis Delmas S2. Phil Loadholt RT3. Best NT (SLH, Moala, Scott)/Freeman WLB4. Cornelius Ingram/James Casey TE5. Nic Harris/Jason Williams/Lee Robinson OLB5. Myron Pryor NT6. BPALoadholt can immediately challenge Clabo for the RT spot and by the end of 2009 will have either pushed clabo inside to guard (where he is better) or as a valuable backup to the entire line. Ingram/Casey can come in and stretch the field in passing situations while they work on blocking in practice, not a starter but a valuable back up tight end who would be an upgrade over peele. We also get Delmas to fix our safety problems giving us a nice collection of safeties (delmas, decoud, coleman). Then in rounds 3 and 5 we add either two LB's for depth and potential future starters or two NT's to add to the rotation.

A-TowN.-
hey Atown, dont you think that in general we can get Rashad in the 3rd?? that would be an absolute steal and i reckon its a 50-50 chance that we do exactly thatI don't think he'd even fall to our second pick, that's slim. He's such a good player and there's no way he would make it past all of those teams that need S.
