Saturday, March 21Mets at the plate: Bobby Kielty capped a three-hit day with a seventh-inning RBI single off Jorge Campillo. Nick Evans led off the seventh with a triple, and Ryan Church supplied a pair of singles. Braves at the plate: Jeff Francoeur highlighted his two-hit afternoon with a three-run, two-out double off John Maine in the third inning. Brandon Jones, who is hitting .400 during Grapefruit League play, provided an RBI single in a three-run seventh inning. Mets on the mound: Maine prolonged his recent struggles by allowing five earned runs on six hits in four innings. In his past three appearances, the right-hander has totaled 11 innings and allowed 14 earned runs. Ron Villone allowed the Braves two runs and three hits in the seventh inning. Braves on the mound: Tom Glavine enjoyed a successful Grapefruit League debut by allowing just two hits over three scoreless innings. Kris Medlen surrendered a hit in a scoreless fourth inning and Jorge Campillo surrendered three hits in three innings. Grapefruit League records: Mets 9-11; Braves 16-4 Up next: Mets ace Johan Santana will take the mound when these two division rivals face each other again on Sunday afternoon in Port St. Lucie, Fla., at 1:10 ET. Jair Jurrjens will start for the Braves. Santana's only previous Grapefruit League start this year came on March 12, when he allowed the Marlins three earned runs in 2 2/3 innings.
