First Details on NCAA Football 10

Taking control out of your hands.

by Nate Ahearn

February 23, 2009 - In a post made over at EA Sports' official Insider Blog, Russell Kiniry -- a designer on NCAA Football 10 -- announced the first details on the upcoming collegiate footballer.

While not exactly earth shattering, the first tidbit of info was that NCAA Football 10 features a new control option that gives fans of simming through their games the ability to simply pick the play and watch the computer carry out the actions. While the AI has always been able to handle running plays, now all players will need to do is hike the ball and the computer will (hopefully) logically take care of the rest.

The other detail revealed in the post was that NCAA Football 10 will feature the same procedural awareness that will be this year's version of Madden. That means that wide receivers and defensive backs should now realistically track the ball with their eyes before making a play on it.

Look for NCAA Football 10 to hit store shelves this summer.
