Goodoleboy58
I know he stole a few bases against us for Colorado right? I mean the guy was a top tier player for us before leaving our organization... I used to love the dude.... Any other few year wonders yall wonder about? I also like Charles Thomas the guy we traded for Tim Hudson.... I also remember listening to Ryan Klesko nail spring training pitchers on the radio years ago.... I thought for sure him and Melvin Nieves were going to take the major league by storm. Unknøwn
Just looked up Charles Thomas and he was traded from the A's to the Brewers in 2007 but he never made it out of the minors with the Brewers and they didnt resign him hes currently a free agent
Scott da 6'0
John Schuerholz knew what he was doing. That Hudson trade will go down as one of the most lopsided trades in Braves' history.

He was a fine college player at Western Carolina, but I don't think he was ever viewed in the same way as a Heyward, Schafer, or Gorkys is today. Unknøwn
Thomas was just a one year wonder, he actually got to play with the A's and he hit just .109 with 1 RBI in 30 games
Ransack
John Schuerholz knew what he was doing. That Hudson trade will go down as one of the most lopsided trades in Braves' history.Which was followed by the Tex trade. Take a look at baseballs top 100 prospects list and see just how bad of a trade that was. The Rangers remade their farm system with that deal. I know without even looking at that list that had we not made that trade, we would have 3 of the top-10 prospects in all of baseball (Hanson, Heyward, and Feliz), and also 7 out of the top-100. However, our scouting department led by Frank Wren has done a great job of reloading our farm system with great prospects. I don't know where we sit in terms of top farm systems, but I'd venture a guess that we're top-5. We're in prime position to keep that retooling up with the 7th pick.
