It's a package deal. You can have all the ability in the world but if you can't get the crowd to care about you either way, then it doesn't matter. In fact, the guys who were the most successful were long on charisma and short on ability.

It is a performance after all.

Then I would have to go with this list:

10. Andre the Giant

09. Mick Foley

08. Ultimate Warrior

07. Undertaker

06. Bret Hart

05. Stone Cold Steve Austin

04. Sting

03. Hulk Hogan

02. Ric Flair

01. The Rock

Honorable mention: Triple H

THE G.O.A.T B)

You either loved or hated The Hotrod, but you always paid attention to him. At the very least, the best Heel along with Flair. Hogan owes his career to Piper playing the role of the heel to perfection.

Man there was so many good wrestlers back in the day. Kinda sad when you look at the state of it now. Samoa Joe? John Cena (the rapping white boy was a good gimmick but this marine nonsense?). Just sad.

and the amount of time they hold titles for now is nuts. You use to have one guy at the top that would keep the belt for atleast a year before losing it. Now every other month there is a new champ
