Does any know the GA HS all star rosters for north and south teams?

Also does any one have any updates on UGA commits in the Under Armor and Army All star game?

Ive heard that Austin Long is not in San Antonio as he has a broken bone or something to that extent in his back.

Aarron Murray has looked good in practice so far.

Orson Charles is a man amongst boys and is by far the vocal leader of the East squad.

Jarvis Jones is rooming with Murray. Chad Simmons said that he talked to Aarron and that Jarvis keeps singing the UF fight song to mess with him.

Austin Long will be in San Antonio on Friday. Here is the info:

This has been known for some time, but kept pretty quiet because no one wanted it to be blown out of proportion. I had talked to the Long family about this last week and I was asked to keep it quiet until it needed to be out there.

Well, today it is out... Long was supposed to be in San Antonio today, but he will not go until Friday now because he will not be playing.

Here is what Mr. Long has told me about this injury...

- It is called an LG or pars fracture... It is a true [lower] back fracture...

- Austin played with a little back pain from about mid way through the season on.

- The morning after the last game his back was real sore, so they went to the Doc... They got X-Rays, then went back for an MRI, then a Cat Scan on his birthday (Dec 12), which is the day he left for his official visit to UGA.

- That is when they found out about the fracture.

- He is now in a brace, it is getting better, and it is NOT a career threatening injury.

- Austin and his father have talked to Ron Courson of UGA and Courson told them that this is a common OL/DL injury from popping up out of the stance and arching their backs.

- Courson told them it can definitely be dealt with and the doc's say their is a good chance it will grow back together on its own.

- The Long's return to the Doc January 21 and they will know a little more then. If if it is not healing the way it should, then they will look into their options.

- Austin is still positive even though he is a little bummed about not competing in the Army AA game, but they are still excited about being a Bulldog!
