Falconsfan567
It's amazing. They beat the very, very weak Cardinals and Jackson has a career game and all of a sudden they think the are SB bound. Some people just don't get it. SevenDollarBill
Jackson was only 11-17 for 163. Sure he had 4 touchdowns but still. It shows that he really wasnt that much of a contributer to the win. MOst of teh offense was carried by Peterson and Taylor with Jackson throwing only when he had to. The cards gave up 2 turnovers and 60 yards worth of penalties. The cards basically beat their selves. What a game to call your career game. The Cardinals turned the ball over the first 2 times they got it and it was 21 - 0 before you could blink an eye.
SevenDollarBill
Jackson looked good because he got to play with a big lead. Even the VIking board said Jackson played safe, let the RB's get things done and let Jackson take it easy. If the Vikes fall behind early, which is prone to happen since we lead the league in first quarter scoring, I expect Jackson ( if he even starts) to have a hard time playing under the pressure of keeping up or playing from behind. I say commit to the run and put a contain on TJ and they're screwed.........
SevenDollarBill
Because im sure having 4 tds doesnt help a team win.4 of his 11 completions were touchdowns. Yah , thats helpful but my point was he really only threw when he had to , i.e. in the red zone. When you only throw 17 attempts in a game, its a statement to how involved in the gameplan you are ( outside of hand offs and snaps). And yes, if we can get early points, keep the Vike running game in check and put pressure on T-Jack when he has to throw, then the Falcons should have a great chance. And I bet their game plan is going to be pretty similar. Stop Turner, blanket White and Jenkins and pressure Ryan. SO it will come down to who executes better. crankdatfalcon
why would they still be mad over what happened in 1998 when they beat us last year in minnesota?
AutoMax
why would they still be mad over what happened in 1998 when they beat us last year in minnesota?Because, their win last year didn't catapult them into the Super Bowl. Our win in '98, in Minnesota, did.

SacFalcFan
Everyon always says " all we have to do is stop AD" Easier said than done.that is true, but it can be done. the biggest thing with AD is getting a lead.. you get the vikings down as with any team that is so dominant running the ball you can neutralize him. that is the key IMO. We win this game in the first 2 quarters if we can jump on minnesota early..

Brewcrew
Any QB in the NFL from P. Manning to Brady would take those number! It just shows how much of a running team they have. The fact that he got 4 TDs on 11 catches just shows that they probably ran the ball 40 times. That's great he connected on passess in the red zone, that's when you make your money. But they obviously have very little faith in him though, to only let him throw the ball 17 times. I have little doubt he won't revert back to being a detriment to his team this week. Well said, and yes I think its time for T-Jack to revert to his 0-2 start that got him yanked in the first the place.
Gee-Q
I just noticed that random Dallas fan here on the board.... Weird isn't it...True story. I've lived in Austin for about 8 years now. Huge Cowboy following here in Austin, obviously. However, if you ask the average Cowboy fan, they can't tell you when the last time they won a playoff game. Jerry Jones has everybody hypnotized that they have the greatest team year afer year... Most fans dont' even know that the Boys haven't won a playoff game in 12 years !!! LOL !!! They keep conveniently forgetting that even when they do make the playoffs... they go one and done!!! Even when they became the 1st Number One Seed to lose its opening game in the playoffs... LOLCan't wait till they lose to the Ravens Saturday....+
AutoMax
Can't wait till they lose to the Ravens Saturday....+And that's actually likely to happen too. The Ravens are pretty tough this year. Dallas doesn't seem to be able to get their game together, but they caught the G-Men on one of their sloppiest games last week.
