Confrense record comes before common opponents in the division race NOT THE WILD CARD

thanks.

And in the wild card tie breaker, when there are 3 teams that are tied, the first place to go to break a tie is the divisional tie breaker rules if 2 of the teams are in the same division, so Tampa gets one spot. Then it's us versus Dallas, and Dallas has us on rule 4 or 5, don't remember the number, which is Strength of Victory, their opponents are better than our opponents, so their SOV is higher, and we're out. Thanks.

It doesnt matter, if atlanta, dallas and TB are 11-5, before you do the wild card tiebraker, you do the division tiebraker between atlanta and tampa bay.

Then you do tampa bay v dallas, which I think is TB.

Then you do dallas v atlanta, which is dallas.

NO DUDE WE have the tiebreaker agianst tampa bay unless they win out, they dont have a better division record then us they are 3-3 we are 3-3 then you do common opponents we are 6-1 they are 5-1 its not that confusing. but the thing is if tampa bay wins out and we win out then it goes to confrence.

Of Course if they are 10-6 and we are 11-5 of course we are in. There is no tiebraker then.

You do realize that every game on the schedules are common opponents except 2 right? Our games versus St. Louis and Philly and their games versus Seattle and Dallas. We both win out and they beat us on strength of victory. We've been over this about 3000 times.

ok I don't understand something......... maybe its me just being ignorant here but

If we are tied w/ tampa now......and we have a playoff spot...........

why would we lose that playoff spot if we are tied w/ tampa at the end of the season?

Easy, we dont have one now.

because we have only 1 common opponent left and they have the 2 common opponents right now we are up by a game but if they win those 2 then that pulls us even and it goes to the next tie breaker.
