cuttermd
Dallas D looks really good. Their O can forced into mistakes. Giants just looked slow & sloppy.
kjc34
imo they are that good, high talent level and for all of wades weaknessescalling defense is not one of themhe is a very good d coordinator ( he took over play calling a couple of weeks back i believe)just a bit weak in the head coaching department
Falconsfan567
The Giants aren't the same team offensively without Plaxico Burress and Brandon Jacobs.
root down
Giants are down offensively, and Cowboys are finally playing good D.No safety over the top of Plax= more run support and D can play more games with looks. To me Jacobs isn't as big a loss. They still have 2-3 rbs that get it done. I really think they abadoned the run and that played into the Boys teeing off. Oh, yeah, Eli was baaaaaaaad.and NO the Cowboys aren't that good.
jluk
to sack manning 8 times, the cowboys had absolutely no fear and confidence that their defense would have over-match any plays the giants would throw at them. 2 key problems was that they had no jacobs and a wide receiver that demanded double coverage. the giant's offense against the cowboys looked average at best. the biggest problem in the game was that the giants did not adjust their play-calling to match the constant pressure from the cowboys and there were at least 5-6 key drop passes that killed drives. i just dont understand why manning did not make the changes and perhaps the cowboys created and disguised new blitz schemes. kusonagi
The Cowboys are that good but the question remains can they play that well for 60 minutes in each of their remianing games. They didn't vs PIT.But Romo is not consistently accurate passing, especially under duress. The cowboys pass blocking was poor last nite so I think the Eagles will destroy Romo in wk 17. So will the Ravens.
slamee101
The Cowboys D is that good. Since Wade took over the defensive playcalling they've been monsters. Ware, Ratliff, Canty, Ellis, Newman...they're no joke. That said, the Giants are clearly struggling on the O-line. #77 for New York last night ought to be ashamed to get a game check for this week! Falconsfan567
The Cowboys defense can be that good but they are playing the Ravens next week. Look out. They are playing in Philly the last game of the season. Look out.

Falconsfan567
Neither did Dallas Defense and D Ware slinging Eli around like a dog toy.You won't get any agruement from me on that. Eli had a horrible game because of the Cowboys defense. I have given the Cowboys defense props for being really good. I love DeMarcus Ware because he played for Troy and I live in Alabama and saw a few of his college games. I just wish he didn't play for the Cowboys. But I knew he was gonna be a monster in the NFL. Witten has played all year and had a separated shoulder and bruised ribs, Felix is out and he scored 3 td's in 5 games, Newman has missed games as well as others in the secondary and the line has been banged up all year. Ware was playing on a sore knee. Roy Williams out...even tho that probably doesn't hurt in pass coverage, he was awful. But he hit like a truck. So when I hear people say the Giands are without a couple of players, like the announcers kept saying, it hit a nerve. Yea, D Ware is the truth. I am SO glad we took him over Merriman. Merriman is very good too, but you have to wonder now what the roids did to him. And D Ware is a pretty quiet humble guy.

I didn't hear of Merriman till he got drafted and I watch a lot of college football. Take it for what it's worth.I'm in ACC country and Merriman played at Maryland. I also remember him , after Dallas took Ware, saying that Dallas had called him and promised him he was coming there..I thought, "whatever " Shawn is a great player, but I wouldn't trade Ware for him even when he was healthy. Now I am the opposite of you, I had never heard of Ware before the draft except that Dallas was looking at him, so I figured he must be decent to be thought of. I over reacted a little too because some idiot on the Skins board was saying Ware was at best an average player. I generally don't hate on players just because they play on teams I dislike. I give credit where it's due across the league. For someone to call ware "average " is just haterade..

I also didn't get to see Vernon Davis play much. Same with Mario Williams at NC State. When I get to see ACC games it's usually Clemson, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Miami. But I agree with you. For someone to call Ware average is just a joke. I was pissed because Ware grew up in Auburn and some how Auburn completely missed him and let him get to Troy.

He certainly would not have went 11th like he did.Yea, I was never surprised at Mario over Bush because I'm a State fan and I knew what a monster he could be.Reggie Bush was the glamour pick and people were all up his jock. Scott24Falcons
No. The Cowboys aren't that good. They've got all the talent in the world, but they're extremely undisciplined. That OL is terrible, also. If they do make the playoffs, I don't see how they could possibly go anywhere.

Seriously though, if Dallas beats both Baltimore and Philly, they deserve to go. I'm just not sure how far they can go without a very good OL.
