Ryan doesn't want your respect, but he'll gladly take the win.

I'm sure he will after such a poor showing of the vaunted rookie. Turner single handedly won the game. That's not a bad thing. Just saying Ryan didn't carry his team on his shoulders in this one.

 Oh yeah. One win and now you guys are Buc killers.

News Flash: We split this season. If today's game was in Tampa it wouldn't have been close.

3 careless turnovers, lazy protection leading to a blocked punt, defending first in OT, and the Falcons still win. That's what a real team does. Bucs have given up 475 rushing yards in the two biggest games of their season.

Of course, the Falcons will need to play much better if they want to beat the Vikings and Rams.

I make no excuses for our poor offensive production. A real team causes turnovers, too, though.

Normally one interception won't cut it. Hate to break it to you.

Do you have any excuses for that swiss cheese run defense?

Ok, I'm done giving you a hard time. Just wanted to give you some of your own medicine.

I would overall agree with you....he had a TD pass nullified because our backup TE shouldn't even be on an NFL roster...but other than that struggled greatly at times we needed him to lock it up.

We have played every game with a rookie QB.

???

yall have played every game with a kid who is getting high praise, oh AND he's a starter. yall beat a old second stringer that has no business being in a game today, if garcia plays the falcons don't win. you know that, i know that, everyone knows that. griese isn't garcia. griese doesn't even had a passer rating of 70, calm down.

Dude, you really are a fool. We even have Bucs' fans in the forum that said that Garcia would have made no difference. Griese actually played very well today and threw the ball downfield.

dude wake up, griese is nothing compared to garcia. you think garcia would have had a 88 passer rating? which is good, but he would have been in the upper 90's. yall wouldn't have had as many sacks, and abraham might have had one. ATLEAST two sacks wouldn't have happened because garcia wouldn't have walked into them. garcia would have made big plays with his legs and extended plays, just like he does EVERY game. and lastly, garcia gets rid of the ball much quicker than griese.

once again, if griese had success against the falcons, what do you think garcia would have done? what would you say if i said ryan wouldn't have made a difference if redman played?

We are 9-5 with a rookie QB.

All I'm gonna say is go read some of the comments on this board from Bucs' fans, as well as the TB forum. The ones that know what they're talking about all said that they thought it was initially the wrong decision to start Griese, but they thought he gave the team a great chance to win. Garcia wouldn't have forced the ball downfield like Griese did a few times. Besides, Griese was spot-on with some of those throws to Antonio Bryant.

And with Garcia getting rid of the ball and moving around like his feet are on fire comes short dump-offs to RBs who aren't always open.

The Falcons were the better team today.
