Could this scenario really happen??

tampa wins tonight, and loses to us next week, loses to san diego the next week, and beat oakland the last week leaving them at 11-5

atlanta, beats tampa, and wins out the rest of the season leaving us at 11-5

carolina loses tonight, beat denver, loses to the giants, and beat the saints leaving them at 11-5

okay, who wins the division, and who is in for the wildcard???

Tampa wins the division by virtue of their 4-2 division record.

Carolina/Atlanta shoot it out for the wild card which would require Dallas to also win out. If Dallas does win out, this scenario has Dallas & Atlanta with an 8-4 conference record and Carolina with a 7-5 conference record meanign Carolina would be out.

If Dallas does not win out, Carolina & Atlanta go to the playoffs.

so as far as wildcard is concerned, washington and the eagles are not in the conversation??

Or more realistically, Bucs lose at CAR at ATL and win the last two games

Car beats Tampa, loses to giants saints, beats Denver

Falcons wins out
