Do we need to win out now?

If I'm thinking correctly, we'd need Dallas to lose this game, and the NYG game. We'd need Washington to lose 2nite, and they could win out, we're good. Even with Philly winning all their games, the half game tie would kill them in the end(they'd be 10-5-1)

So...say, we lose to TB next week. We'd need Dallas to lose 2 straight, starting 2day, and Washington to lose 2nite.

win out and we're in. (dallas WILL NOT beat the steelers today).

win 2 and we need another cowboys loss.

Win 2 wont' get you either..here's the Conf record

Falcons 5-4

TB WIN 5-5

Falcons WIN 6-5

Falcons WIN 7-5

Dalas 6-4

Steelers WIN 6-4

Giants WIN 6-5

Dallas WIN 6-5

Dallas WIN 7-5

Dallas has better Strength of Victory or Schedule.. So they get in NOT US

So they need to loose min both of the NFC game

He's saying if we pull out 2 in these last few weeks, we would need Dallas to lose twice

Long & short of it is this:

Dallas moves into the #6 playoff spot today, whether they win or lose.

The Falcons no longer control their own destiny.

Basically, we can't win any tie-breakers, so Atlanta has to finish with a better record than Dallas, which, from where I'm sitting, is entirely possible, but is not the most likely scenario, given the schedules of the two teams.
