another name being thrown around is DeWayne Walker from UCLA

I love how LSU isnt waiting...they see the problem and are solving it by trying to get who they feel is the best DC out there before other schools start snapping them up

Im glad someone is showing the initiative and being proactive in fixing their defensive woes. Someone needs to speak to Richt about this.

LSU and Clemson are interested in Chavis (DC from Tennessee)

LSU is also interested in Tyrone Nix from Ole Miss and has actually contacted former Syracuse HC Greg Robinson about the DC job

I know he was Texas' DC before going to Syracuse, so he's got some experience against the spread.

He's got plenty of NFL experience. He was actually the Broncos DC when they won back to back Super Bowls.
