RoastBeeph
Whats the tie breaker?Division record? For wildcard, tiebreakers are:1) Head to Head2) Conference record3) Common games record (at least four common games)For Division it is:1) Head to Head2) Division record3) Common games record (at least four common games)
4dabirds
actually i want Carolina to kill Tampa Bay because Carolina has a schedule ahead of them in which i don't think they can handle. Tampa though has us and then oakland and chargers. Carolina has Denver, Giants, then at the Saints.I'm with you on that.
RoastBeeph
Honestly, though, I think all three of us make it to playoffs (Panthers, Bucs, Falcons). The Cowboys schedule the last four games is BRUTAL and the Redskins are already a game behind us. MattyIceIsSoNice
Then we would have the tiebreaker because they would be 3-3 and we'd be 4-
RoastBeeph
I think the Panthers finish 12-4 and win the division.I think the Bucs and us finish 11-5 and win the wildcards.
Bucman™®
Don't look past those silly little Aints.
falconsfan1987
Carolina if you want to still try for the NFC southTampa if your willing to settle for a wild card.I agree we got 4 games left and Tampa is the hardest of the bunch. We have a great chance at going 12-4.
iDash
We need Carolina to win, Tampa doesnt play NY Giants
HuskerFalcon
i want the panters to win since they have a harder scedule
TNFalcons
Correct me if I'm wrong here guys but we want Tampa either way and here is why. This is ASSUMING we beat the Saints. If we don't beat the Saints throw this out. Ok so we beat the Saints and Tampa wins you gotTampa 10-3Atlanta 9-4 we have the tiebreaker over carolinaCarolina 9-4Then next week we play Tampa which I believe that would be for first place. If we beat them we'd both be 10-4 and I think we'd have the tiebreaker.I like your logic. So i can't say go tampa, but yeah.
RoastBeeph
Right now:Conference Records -Bucs: 8-2Panthers: 6-3Falcons: 5-3Cowboys: 6-4Redskins: 6-4Division Records -Bucs: 3-1Panthers: 2-2Falcons: 2-2Bucs are in the playoffs IMO...they own the tiebreakers. falconsfan1987
We have 2 home games left, Tampa Bay and St. Louis are coming to town. I think that this team has progressed enough since last time we played the Bucs but we will see.
MattyIceIsSoNice
Everyone keeps pointing out the fact that Carolina still has to play the Giants. That's true but the Giants will have the division wrapped up by then and could play backups and give the Panthers an easy win.
tonegully
i want tampa to lose so they start second guessing themselves
AF89
Honestly, though, I think all three of us make it to playoffs (Panthers, Bucs, Falcons). The Cowboys schedule the last four games is BRUTAL and the Redskins are already a game behind us.I'm not really worried about the Skins. Cowboys are picking up but like you said have a tuff schedule.I'm a little worried about the Eagles cause they've beat'n us and they may be getting hot (I have not idea what thier tie means to us) If they beat the Giants then we should be looking over our shoulders at them, if they lose ...well then who cares becuase they'd be all but mathmaticlly out anyway (they need to win out thier schedule to get a wildcard)we don't need to winout but we can't afford to lose more than one game. IMO

RoastBeeph
Well, the Eagles really have to finish 4-0 to even have a chance at the playoffs (they'd be 10-5-1). 9-6-1 won't get them in. And the Eagles play the Giants in NY next week..so I am not really worried about them.
