When I had put together my off-season plan last year, I had Babs signing a 5 year $16-17M contract. But he's broken through this year IMO and along with the Falcons success, this contract seems reasonable. Similar to the one Jay Ratliff with the Cowboys signed.

Where'd you get that from? He wouldn't take a 45mil 5 year deal. They ended up signing him for 7.25 mil for 1 year.

Yea, I really wanted Haynesworth in da offseason, but the titans would probably "Franchise" him anyway. As for Babs, good amount. At least we didn't overpay him like the Raiders did with Tommy Kelly, seven year, 50.5 million?!? :blink:

I think we'll draft a DE instead. We'll have Trey Lewis back next year plus we can move Jamal into DT from times to times. We need another speed rusher at DE more.
