skynyrd04
Essentially Brian Bilick said that ATL's offense would be scary if in FA or the draft we added a dynamic TE.
Ethanga62890
Ehhh, the system doesn't use TEs much but i imagine we could find a use.
Return-of-the-Falcon
Billick is an idiot...The Team would be Scary if we had a dominant D.....The offense is fine the way it is besides some depth at OT and G
The Dirty Bird
Essentially Brian Bilick said that ATL's offense would be scary if in FA or the draft we added a dynamic TE.TD knows that too....once again proven by entering the competition for Tony Gonzalez at the trade deadline. JRob215
We'll see, I guess. All I know is that Mularkey has never used a receiving TE since he has been a coach in the NFL. The only kind of TE I could see us getting other than a blocker is one like Dallas Clark or Dustin Keller -- a one-dimensional receiver to use in the slot. g-dawg
I was impressed with the Gresham guy who played TE for Oklahoma - big target at 6'6" as well. However, Herbstreit did say that Gresham's achilles heel maybe his hands.......sorry, if Gresham cannot squeeze it consistently, then I don't want him as a 1st round pick. Return-of-the-Falcon
we need defense....not a TE....give me a late rnd TE like Pasco or ev engram out of FL.....TE's is a position you draft when the rest of your team is already set
Karst41
You must have missed Billicks Quote!"On 2nd and Short I am a genius""On 2nd and long I am the Village Idiot"Dontcha just love Truth in Advertising Now then whats all this about a TE?Cheers
uga2006
Don't overlook the Cook kid from South Carolina. He's way better at receiving than greisham and IMO more athletic. He catches like a WR but is big enough to be a TE. Don't know if he'd last to rd. 3 but I'd like to have him.
skynyrd04
And Ryan Purvis from BC. His numbers are down this year(wonder why?) so he could be had in later rounds. And I think he already has a good relationship with a QB we all know.
bossFALCON™
take one in the later rounds that can block and has good hands, or just pick one up in FA. we could use the TE in the slot too.
