Happy Mondays
Flacco is having a good year but his defense gives him a short field to work with, he is good just not as good as Ryan
SupaDupaFalconsFan
PLEASE Ryan definitely has more accuracy, dont make excuses for Flacco because of his receivers...

jluk
sure we are all biased when comparing the 2. but i will be neutral here and still pick ryan. ryan is an above average qb and will be a contender. while flacco is not consider elite caliber and is a pretender. The Don™
I am not being a homer, but Ryan is better than Flacco.
mobpickel
Dose Flacco have a come back in the 4th?....have the falcons scored less then 3 pointh this year :P not even close. BTW falcons runs the offense I never see Flacco check down.

Ghost Rider
Flacco is having a good year but his defense gives him a short field to work with, he is good just not as good as RyanI agree. He is doing really well for a rookie and I think he is going to be a great QB. Matt Ryan is not only doing well for a rookie, he's doing well period. He is doing as well as most QB's in this league right now. Matt numbers are a lot better than Flacco's too. This really shouldn't be debated though. They both have a real chance to be great. I would take Ryan over Flacco because of his smarts but I wouldn't be upset with either.
natod12
eh, i'm a bit bias so i think ryan is doing a better job, but flacco has less to work with on the offensive side of the ball
michaelgee
Flacco came to a team that was already competitive.Matt Ryan stood in the ashes of Bobby Petrino's failed attempt in the BiGs.Now I have to ask, who brought their team from ground zero? Certainly NOT Joey Flacco.
Guest Gritz
Flacco has surprised me at how quickly he has adapted but it's really not that close.....Clearly Ryan is better. It's good for the NFL if both succeed.....

That would be cool.
takeitdown
Ryan's better now, Flacco has a higher ceiling. He may not reach it.Ryan was more NFL ready coming out, but they've both exceeded expectations. Ryan is clearly better today, but it is difficult to say who'll be better in a couple of years. I think it's safe to say Ryan will at worst be good, which is pretty remarkable.

bossFALCON™
flacco has looked like a rookie this year, a good rookie, but a rookie.if you turned a falcon game and the announcers didnt say he was a rookie you would have at least thought the guy had been in the league 4 or 5 years. his numbers even reflect a player that has been in the league for a while. flacco has been good, but give me ryan over flacco anytime.flacco on the falcons in 08: 3-13 to 5-11ryan on the ravens in 08: 10-6 to 12-
nolafan33
ryan is the better qb, but flacco isn't far behind. you can't really judge the two, they are totally different backs.
War Damn Eagle
Anyone who is actually PAID to make evaluations has claimed Ryan to be the best. Many have said he is the best since Marino (even better than Manning). That's enough for me. Flacco appears to be good also. Good for him. X-Man21
Flacco is good. and he just has a better D to help him out. Soon Ryan will have that as well
IonSen88
This isn't close. Ryan handles more responsibilty, can read defenses (and audible) very well and throws accurate passes.Who else can say they threw a touchdown on their first pass?
