ATLballer
The execs at Fox feels like there is no need to make it national since we have a slim to zero chance of making the playoffs....but if we had won, we would be playing for the divisional lead...that makes it more appealing....Thats why they moved it to a late game..We were picked to beat Denver with no problem...we loss so our game isnt as important any more...Fox didnt just move our game for no reason...We were supposed to win last weeks game!!!!! FalconMama
You have a valid point but there's no use in harping on it now, what's done is done.

BlacksburgHokie
Arizona/Giants would probably have been the national game reguardless of how we did in that game. It seems sort of silly that they would flex our game to compete against that game...
Ghost Rider
for those with no math skills at all, we have enough games left to get into the playoffsAnd win the division for that matter.

Espo
i dont understand. If we beat Carolina we are only 1 game out of first. And we have alot easier schedule then them for the rest of the reason
luckyhole
Carolina is the most boring team in the league. And Giants/Cardinals is a pretty huge match-up. I can see why they made this decision.
kschreck
Tied (record wise) for the final wild card spot is "slim to zero" chance of making the playoffs? That's some interesting math.Actually, there is more on the line in our game than Giants, Cardinals.
kschreck
Carolina is the most boring team in the league. And Giants/Cardinals is a pretty huge match-up. I can see why they made this decision. The Giants are more than likely going to win their division and Cardinals definitely are. Meanwhile, the south is up for grabs and we're fighting to make the playoffs. This defeats the hole point of flexing the game to the late slot. highlightreel08
In a way I don't view us not getting any national games this year as all tat bad. Trust me they'll come next year but I don't want us to end up like one of those media hype teams like the dallas cowboys. I've really enjoyed seeing the media own up to riding their jocks too hard last year.
