Waterproof_ace83
I think building through the draft will be TD's mindset...I like Raji (BC) or maybe one of the guys from GT in the 2-4 round area....I think some FA names that could be on our list are:TJ Houshmandzadah....could be a nice tandom with Roddy and Matt...probably too expensiveLeonard Pope.....TE out of Arizona who I think could be good, hasn't gotten much playing time, and he is huge at 6'7" 260lbsKarlos Dansby, Jonathan Vilma, Bart Scott....lets be honest, Brooking is nearing the end of a good career, we have young guys there, and also, will we keep Boley (who could be slightly over-rated)....And then I'm sure there is a S in mind, as the Law Dog will be moving on...maybe Darren Sharper from Minn...prob. too much thoughI think we definately need to resign Babs as well as look at Boley and a few others...but if not, we will look to the draft to build from within....I really like DT or TE with our late 1st round pick....Terrence Cody DT 6'5" 370lbs...or Brandon Pettigrew TE 6'6" 260lbs......I think once Matty Ice has a solid running game (Turner) and TE to help the WR, he will be Manning-like.....No way i want TJ, he is one of the most overrated players in the league. Someone is going to be in the same situation we were in when we got Peerless. TJ is a number 2 receiver, but some gm will sign him as a 1 and probably lose his job because of it. TJ is completely useless more than 10-15 yards downfield
rugger8
Haynesworth's agent will take the truckload of money that the Raiders gave Justin Kelly and the Chiefs gave Dorsey, and compare Hayneswoth to those two guys which will equal the highestpaid DT in league history. I just don't see us use that kind of money on one player. And we shouldn't. He's old and he'd had injury issues in the past. He's been great, but if we're looking for a DT in free agency, we should be looking at a younger guy. ...but at draft time, Dimitroff said one of the reasons he didn't go for one is that this year's class would be deeper. deja entendu
I couldn't agree more with this sentiment. I have caught a couple of BC games this year (merely by accident as I like to watch pro prospects and each game I was actually trying to focus on another player). B.J. kept jumping out at me. This team needs a player that can collapse the pocket from the interior while our ends get upfield. People, B.J. does just this. Everytime I've seen him, he eats two blockers and collpses the pocket.Cody, on the other hand, is just a beast. However, I get kinda nervous when these overly large players in college come into the pros. Sometimes it works out nicely (see Grady) while othertimes, the player gets their money and gets lazy. Besides, the huge guys are often injured (though Cody's quick recovery form the knee thing is encouraging).Good insight, i rarely get to watch college games here in the u.k which is a shame, speaking of BC what about thier TE (purvis i think). Just as a possible late round prospect and as a plus hes got some chemistry with Ryan already

Vilma is a MLB, and Saints will prolly keep him, Scott is a 3-4 guy and getting up in age some.Cody I like, but for our Scheme I like Perry more. high motor, explosive pentrating DT. GOod enough size as well. He is @ 295 now, will prolly be around 305 come combines. Would be a nice plug next to Babs.Pettigrew has character concerns, and while it gets old hearing the term, it is obviously a concern around here. Just as a possible late round prospect and as a plus hes got some chemistry with Ryan alreadyThe TE I think would be absolutely perfect is Chase Coffman from MIzzou. He's a great in-line blocker, but is a vastly underrated downfield threat. Plus, we probably can get him with a 2nd or 3rd rounder.http://mutigers.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/m...an_chase00.html

Bring It
I trust that Thomas Dimitroff like he did with Turner will find a backup no one has ever heard about, and make him a star. But I think, although he would be awsome, that Haynesworth is out of our reach. He will demand an insane salery, as will Ashomunga.Yup, TD is not impressed with the Egomaniacs of the NFL.In TD we trust.

rugger8
I dont think he will come here, but he isnt old. he is only 27. He is in his prime now.I thought he was older. My bad. I still am not sure I'd want to put so much money into him. We have a ton od dead money already because of one player. I just wouldn't want to take the risk on one position like that right now. head busta from augusta
Terrell Suggs!!!!!!!!!!!! No character issue, young, productive and affordable. Can you image a defense that include T. Suggs and Abe.
Durrty
I'm tired of hearing about Haynesworth and Asomugha...There's no need to sign big name free agents for huge contracts...FAs like Turner, who's name wasn't a big buzz around the league until close to the postseason, are excellent players to sign. I think TD will first start within and try to keep as many players as possible...chemistry is imperative and you don't want to sacrifice that signing ego players. Then, I think he'll focus on the "under the radar" performers in free agency as well as build solid depth through the draft. It puts our cap in a good position and presents a better situation in case we need to use the cap to deal with season issues.

He will want Freeny type money. which was like $80M for those who forget. Haynesworth is more of an impact player than Freeney too.

BrasKilla
my wishlist is Sean Jones pretty good Safety that could help our Secondary. i would love Suggs but with Anderson Rising i dont see a big need for him unless he plays LB for us and replaces Brooking if Brooking retires. xXFlashFalconXx
albert freaking haynesworthWho wouldn't want him on there team... I really don't see this happening though fellas... TD will do some good things in the off season I'm sure, but signing big Albert would be a stretch... I think he's going to go after younger players to compliment the rest of our young team...
