mashedpotato
I said at the beginning of the season if Atlanta can start off strong expect them to finish strong. Well we started strong and this team is improving by leaps and bounds every week. Our offensive line is gelling more and more. Our young quarterback is turning into one of the best quarterbacks in Falcons history in his rookie season and he's improving faster than anybody. He's unbelievable and I can't say enough about Ryan. Our defense's improvement is based totally on two players. We all know that Abraham is a beast but for us to be a legit defense we needed someone to step up. That someone is Jamaal Anderson and Domonique Foxworth. For two weeks I've watched Jamaal dominate like you wouldn't believe. Against the Eagles, they didn't start moving the ball until he got hurt and came out the game. He will continue to improve. Foxworth is a huge improvement over Grimes and he's learning our defense and turning out to be an amazing corner. The second half of our schedule looks pretty soft to me. I said it earlier in the season and I'm gonna say it again. I think we are gonna finish 11-5. I realize some people may think I'm crazy but I'm confident and those people can kiss......nevermind. We have a young team and young coaches and they are growing right in front of our eyes. It's fun to watch. So enjoy Falcons fans, something special is brewing in Atlanta!!!! Falconsfan1405
As long as everyone stays healthy and focused they should have no problems finishing on the top during the second half of the season.

No.9 and 7, however, is possible and would be excellent.

Remaining schedule.SaintsBroncosPanthersChargersSaintsBuccaneersVikingsRamsWhich 4 games do we have no shot of winning ?I honestly think we have a chance to win ever game left on the schedule. Karst41
I agree that we can win the remaining games,,,But.Our opponents are out to win the games too.Should we continue to Gel and stay healthy, I am confidentthat we can Split or better, and finish 9-7 or better. The Key is to win at least One game from our divisional opponents. It starts this weekend!Cheers
mashedpotato
I looked at the schedule early on in the season and I picked each game. So far I picked every game right. I had us losing to the Eagles, Panthers, and Bucs on the road and winning every other game. I've been right so far. I had us going 11 and 5 and it looks like a very real possibility with our remaining schedule.

Twizt3d
I'll agree things have been way ahead what anyone could've predicted. Matt Ryan has been a godsend for our team, I can begin to give him enough credit. I had a feeling he would be a good QB for us but I never would've expected him to be doing what he's doing already. As for the rest of the year, it's all in the air as far as I'm concerned; with the way this team is coming together and the job Mike Smith is doing I'm willing to say the skies the limit for our beloved Falcons. We need to be able to step up and win some conference games which we are incredibly capable of doing. This has truly been a great half to the season and here's to hoping it only gets better. DurtyBirds02
Can you imagine if our rooke QB brings us to the playoffs? That would be monumental. I would go off the wall
mashedpotato
I don't know but 11-5 looks a little closer every week....and how bout Foxworth...that kid looked awesome...it seems like every week we improve an amazing amount. I love how different people are stepping in to be great every week. This week was Foxworth, Lofton, and Abraham on defense and Ryan, Norwood, and Jenkins on offense. This is fun ain't it. Magic Man
I'm saying at least 10-6. Out of the remaining 7, I think 4-3 is plausible to say the least

Yeah If I only would have had that chair in week 1. We'd have home field advantage all the way through.
