xFalconLord
Why wouldnt some of these dual threat QBs that are 4 or 5 star players want to come to georgia tech to run the triple option? Are they worried that they cannot get drafted to the NFL if they run the option? It seems to me that there should be some prospects drolling over playing in the triple option offense.Running the QB position in this offense is like being the go to player on an NBA team. You make all the decisions and have the ball in your hands in the run AND passing game.
ramblinwreck9
We already have a 4-star Duel Threat QB committed this recruiting season. Jordan Luallen http://georgiatech.scout.com/a.z?s=140&...amp;nid=3001907Here is a complete list of commits from Scout.comhttp://georgiatech.scout.com/a.z?s=140&...c=8&yr=2009
jgator21
Most of them are probably told by other coaches that they wont get to pass much and that will hurt their draft status. Id bet you thats 90% of it and Im sure if Sac reads he will agree.
xFalconLord
I saw about Luallen but I just didnt see anyone else "Considering" the Jackets..Most of them are probably told by other coaches that they wont get to pass much and that will hurt their draft status. Id bet you thats 90% of it and Im sure if Sac reads he will agree.Thats my thought. I just think the more recruits see this offense, the more they would have to love to come play here. Running backs and QBs alike.

We only need them to do it 10-12 times a game.

HuskerFalcon
Tommie Frazier was the best Ive ever seen. He was simply incredible.between Crouch and Frazier...its a toss up but Frazier was on the best team ever in the history of college football....crouch....well he wasnt....and he did an amazing job at leading the team to the NC running the option to perfection....also i never really saw tommy play since i was young and dont remember other than the NC game against the gators, which he had prolly the best game of his life....but i do remember seing eric play.... GaTechFalconsfan
Just landed a new RB but he is a high rated 3 star. Here is one guy that reminds me of Josh Nesbitt, we're looking good with him and recruiting him at QB.http://georgiatech.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=78667
wreck02
Guys, don't read to much into the stars of players. Some of the best players Tech has had- guys that are starters or players- in the NFL were only 2/3 stars. Look at who has offered them scholarships. That is a better sign as to what you are getting.
