I took a dump last night and I swear it looked just like Drew Brees and smelled exactly like the city of New Orleans. It's kinda freaky, man.

That's just uncalled for. Don't hate on the best QB in the league. Matt Ryan is pretty decent, but he's no Brees! Give him a couple of years and then he may get to somewhere in the near vicinity.

Notice how he didn't say anything about the God awful stench that roams the streets of New Orleans....

First of all...let me say that I have been reading this and it just inspired me to join and post. I will start by saying that apparently, I am more man than 99% of you because I can say that I respect your team. I dislike them a great bit, but I respect them still. A lot of the reason for the respect is the fact that your team has had similar struggles as my Saints. I also have to admit, you guys landed a stud in Matt Ryan. Now, I understand the rivalry and the hatred for the team... but the players? You dumb ***** on here (you know who you are) know good and well you would cut off your pinkie toe for Reggie Bush or Drew Brees... so to say that they suck? Whatever. Talking about the hurricane and the ****** city and fans is just plain wrong. I live about an hour from New Orleans, but I work for the US Marshals, and I was in New Orleans the day after Katrina... it was sad. There were bad people there just like there were good people there, but until you guys know what it's like to man up in a crisis situation, you can **** yourself. Doing what we did yo save other people isn't a Louisiana thing, it's a MAN thing, and to hear people use that day for redicule is wrong. I know all Falcon fans aren't like that, but this board is overrun with them. Again, I know there are ****** people from New Oreleans, but there are good people too. So don't stereotype. My roommate in the academy lives in Peachtree, and to hear the stories about when he worked for Atlanta PD... let's just say that you guys aren't short in the "good for nothing thug" category. With that being said, I hope we win, but I do repect your team.

Please don't take what a few fans say as the fanbase of Atlanta in its entirety. Every city, every team, every fanbase has its share of immature, callous or classless individuals. This does not represent the majority. I would never say anything about a tragedy like the hurricanes that hit New Orleans or Florida for that matter. This board is not overrun with them - there are actually quite a few really good posters - and several who post under different names the same crap. There are also some people who just feel they can say anything and it's ok. But, it's not. You have my personal apologies for that.

That being said - it is our nature as fans to knock the players - especially those we feel are the best. To see horrible descriptions of the top players on your team should be a complement to you. We knock that which we fear the most.

I've been a fan of the Falcons for one year longer than the Saints were in existence, so I am quite familiar with our history together. I hate the Saints because we are rivals - long-time rivals. Some of my best and worst memories as a Falcons fan comes from games against the Saints. I've been to so many games between these two over the years and have walked out of some feeling on top of the world and walked out of some hating the Saints more than any team on earth. But, I would never, ever, ever poke fun at a tragedy like what happened there. Never.

This board is just meant to fire up the fans about our team. Ignore the obviously classless comments from some and just expect lots of digs and shots against the city and the team and the fanbase from the rest. Just the nature of fandom and it's all in the name of rivalry.

I do want to add one thing - I would not even cut off my toenail for either of them. That is the truth. We are a young team - and while Brees is an amazing QB with tremendous talent - I am happy with our young QB and the future he holds for us. As for Bush - he's a playmaker and a great talent - but I'm happy with Norwood and the potential and playmaking he brings to us. Do I respect them both as great players - yes. But, contrary to what you believe, I am one fan who would not trade what we are building for anything, not even them.

Go Falcons - Defend the Dome!!!!!

Let me explain my position for the Saints crybabies.

I love the city of New Orleans. It's a great town.

I can respect the NFL players.

It's you and your ilk that I can stand. Just go back to your B&G trash bucket.
