3 Game Homestand

Recommended Posts

1-2 or 2-1. Denver looks very beatable for what we want to do offensively. I have tremendous respect for Brees and it will take a huge effort for our defense, pass-rushing and covering, to keep up with the Saints passing attack. Carolina seems like a solid team.

I think we can beat the aints. They have a good offense yes, but if we can rattle brees and get our ends to the Qb we can win. As for Denver, if really depends which Bronco team shows up. We should be able to EAT their defense alive at home. Cutler is a good QB, but he tends to make alot of mistakes and we HAVE to capitalize on them. Lastly the panties... well they are a good football team and we all know that. Gotta contain smith and stop their run. I say we lose a close one.

2-1 at the homestand

I disagree. I think 3-0 is a very attainable goal. This team has momentum and Smith has them focused like the falons have seldomed been in the past. They will be prepared and at home. What more can you ask for at this stage? In addition the panthers have been much more vulnerable on the road and I expect that game to be the toughest of the three. Our coaching staff and the players are maturing and getting stronger with each suceeding game.Injuries are the biggest threat to our homestand,I thind.

We have the talent and the ability to go 3-0...

Against the 'Aints... We know their offense evolves around Brees. In order for us to be successful, we must improve on our pass rush defense. If our defensive front starts slow, then it's on our LBs to play at a higher level and protect the middle of the field, which is our weak spot. The good thing is that the 'Aints won't have Bush and that their defense is not good at all. We also must dominate this game in the T.O.P category for us to win.

Against the Broncos... Which Denver team shows up shouldn't be a concern, but playing sound defense and pounding the ball against a weak defensive front that let a Patriots' struggling offense run the score up should be our top priority. Our biggest task is starting out fast against the Broncos because it will be difficult for them to get back in the game especially if our defense begins clicking on all cylinders.

Against the Panzies... This game I'm more confident we can win because I've seen what Ryan can do against Carolina's defense. He struggled early in the first meeting, but we have a QB that doesn't make the same mistakes a second time. We hurt ourselves a lot the first time we played Carolina (dropped passes, penalties), but as we all know, this team is a lot different now than it was earlier in the season. This matchup will be a straight up who-can-grind-it-out-longer type of football game. Definately a close one.
